About Meadowlark Meditation
Rooted in Nature,
Guided by Breath

Hello, I'm Shelley
Have you ever felt your thoughts scattered, chasing the next thing on your to-do list? I did too, until I discovered the transformative power of meditation. It wasn't just about finding calm, though. It was in the serene beauty of Ely, surrounded by nature, that I truly found my center. The combination of mindfulness and the outdoors ignited a passion within me, and I knew I wanted to share this path with others.
I founded MeadowLark Meditation to share this experience with others, blending the art of meditation with the restorative energy of the natural world. Whether guiding an individual through a quiet moment of self-reflection, leading a group in breathwork beneath the stars, or helping retreat-goers reconnect with themselves, my mission is simple: help people find presence, clarity, and peace.

The Path That Led Me Here
I wasn’t always this still. Like many, I spent years chasing the next thing, never pausing long enough to truly listen—to myself, to my surroundings, to the rhythm of my own breath. That changed when I discovered meditation. Through training and practice, I learned to slow down, to find balance, and to guide others in doing the same.
Now, I bring mindfulness practices to individuals, groups, and communities through customized meditation sessions, outdoor experiences, and creative expression.
My background includes:
-
Certified Meditation Instructor – The Mindfulness Center
-
Kripalu Mindful Outdoor Guide – Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health
-
Community & Retreat Facilitator – Leading meditation for established retreats and private groups
-
Member of the Ely Wellness Collaborative – Connecting with local practitioners to foster well-being
